‘SupaStore Studio’ took place during the Sara Lane Open Studios in May 2024. Hosted within the working studios in Hoxton, the project introduced the SupaStore format into the intimate environment of the artist’s studio.
For three days visitors were invited to encounter artworks, editions and multiples presented within a functioning studio space rather than a gallery environment. This setting allowed audiences to experience works at the point where production, conversation and display intersect.
The project emphasised the role of the studio as a site of exchange and dialogue. By placing SupaStore within an open studio context, the event foregrounded the social dimension of artistic production and extended the project’s exploration of alternative spaces for exhibiting and circulating artworks.
